Matching Opportunity: Cougar Emergency Fund

The University established the Cougar Emergency Fund – a fund that directly supports UH students who are struggling during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Now, there is a way to specifically support NSM students! Many of them have lost their jobs or support from parents who are now unemployed.

Gifts that are designated as “Cougar Emergency Fund support” can be given to the Dean’s Innovation Fund, and once NSM reaches $25,000, those funds will be matched with an additional $25,000 by a private donor.

Please consider giving to the Dean’s Innovation Fund to help our students who are in financial need. You may use this link and select NSM: Other as the department. The Dean’s Innovation Fund will be one of the options. Then, type “Cougar Emergency Fund” in the text box that appears on the second page.

If you have already given to the Cougar Emergency Fund, thank you. All students can apply to that fund, including NSM students, and receive financial help.
