Volunteers Needed for the NSM Commencement - May 12
The NSM Commencement Committee needs your help with the College’s Spring ceremony on Friday, May 12, at 7 p.m. Roles needed for the event are as follows:
- Graduate Check In & Line Up (4:30 – 7:30 p.m.): Checks in ceremony participants and ensures they have lined up for processional into Fertitta Center.
- Floor Crew (5:30 p.m. – End of Ceremony): Makes sure students are seated properly and that the ceremony flows smoothly as students cross the stage and continue toward recessional.
- Stage Crew (5:30 p.m. – End of Ceremony): Makes sure students are crossing the stage with their walk cards and are in the proper order.
Comp Time/Flex Schedules for Volunteers
Dean Wells has approved comp time (hourly) or flex schedules (salary) for employees helping with the event.
The committee will also provide dinner for those who volunteer. More details will be sent to each participant after they sign up to help with the event.
NSM will host a training session on Wednesday, May 3; it is required for those participating in the ceremony.
