NSM Development Team Transitions: Congratulations to Janis and Stacy!
NSM is well recognized as having a strong and innovative Development Team. Two of its members, Janis Parsley and Stacy Halley, have received promotions.
Janis, NSM’s Senior Director of Advancement since 2012, was asked by University Advancement to take on the role of Chief Development Officer for University Colleges. This new position at UH is part of a divisional reorganization in University Advancement tied to the launch of the University Strategic Plan.
She begins her new position on August 1. Janis will be responsible for leading the development teams for the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts, Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hines College of Architecture, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Hobby School of Public Affairs, and the College of Education.
Congratulations to Janis, and our thanks for nine years of leadership at NSM. She will be missed!
With Janis leaving the College, Stacy Halley has been promoted to the position of Senior Director of Development for NSM. Stacy has been a key figure in NSM’s fundraising success working alongside Janis over the last few years.
She comes to this new position highly endorsed by her peers and University Advancement leadership. Stacy is a proven leader within NSM, and we look forward to the continued growth and innovation she brings to NSM Development.
Stacy and Development Coordinator Jasmine Harrison will be continuing all fundraising efforts and initiatives while the College plans/prepares to hire a new gift officer to fill Stacy’s former position.
Congratulations to Stacy on her new role in NSM!
