Cougar Ally Training Offered in July

If you didn’t make the June workshop, the NSM Staff Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee reminds you that there is another Cougar Ally Training scheduled in July. Faculty are welcome to sign up and attend the training as well. If you took it several years ago, take advantage of summer to refresh!

Twenty-two NSM staff and faculty have been trained through the Ally Program. We’d love to see our list grow!

The mission of Cougar Ally Training is to increase the safety and comfort level for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) students, staff, and faculty at UH by training allies to be able to respond knowledgeably and sensitively to expressed needs.

These workshops are virtual and do not have an attendance cap.
