Donna Stokes Back as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and Student Success
Professor Donna Stokes has been reappointed as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and Student Success in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics for another three-year term beginning August 1, 2026.
Donna has served NSM and the University of Houston with distinction for many years and is one of the College’s most respected and effective leaders. Her work encompasses nearly every aspect of the undergraduate student experience, including academic advising, student success initiatives, teacher preparation, undergraduate programs, scholarships, and student engagement. Through her leadership and collaborations, countless students have benefited from stronger support systems, expanded opportunities, and a culture that prioritizes student achievement and success.
Associate Dean Stokes will continue to lead college-wide efforts to improve student success, retention, graduation, and student well-being while helping shape and implement NSM’s broader student success strategy. I look forward to working with her to strengthen opportunities for our students and build on the College’s tradition of educational excellence.
