Advancement Happenings: da Vinci Society Dinner and Dean’s Advisory Board Meeting

Signature da Vinci Society Dinner Back in Person

Last month, donors and friends gathered to celebrate the generosity of those being inducted into the da Vinci Society. Attendees included Distinguished Alumni, Dean’s Advisory Board members, current da Vinci Society members and 28 new inductees, and key staff and faculty.

It was a great opportunity to be back in person, celebrating those who support the College. Our da Vinci Society members are donors that have been extraordinarily generous in supporting the success of our students, programs, and faculty. They provide contributions that advance faculty research, enhance student success, and propel our students to become leaders in their chosen professions. This year’s inductees included Dean Wells and his wife, Eva.

We look forward to welcoming more inductees next year!

Dean’s Advisory Board Meeting Connects Members to Initiatives on Campus

After a couple of years of remote meetings, the Dean’s Advisory Board could finally meet in person again on campus. The all-day meeting was very productive, and members discussed ways they would better integrate with the College to offer support for our programs, faculty, staff, and students.

Board members also got an opportunity to meet Associate Deans and Chairs during lunch. There was a lot of excitement over presentations from Dr. Jeremy May and Dawnelle Prince, who shared their visions for graduate studies and the NSM Career Center, respectively. The board was also able to share their ideas on preparing students for the ever-changing job landscape.
