Faculty Award for Excellence in Service
Nominations can be provided by faculty, staff, students, and/or a department (e.g., Awards Committee). Self-nominations are permitted. See the NSM Faculty Award for Excellence in Service webpage for the award nomination details. The nomination form can be found on the award webpage and here.
Application materials are due via email to Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Julia Wellner (jwellner@uh.edu) on March 31, 2026. In addition, notification of intent to submit should be sent by email by March 15, 2026.
The award consists of a $5,000 check, a plaque, inclusion of the winner’s name on a plaque in the dean’s suite and online, and recognition at the NSM Faculty Recognition Luncheon.
John C. Butler Excellence in Teaching Award
