Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration: January 18–28
The 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration is an opportunity for the UH community to celebrate and reflect on the legacy and life of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year’s theme, “The Journey to Justice: Moving Beyond Diversity,” highlights that anti-racism efforts and Dr. King’s plight for racial justice continue today.
CDI Workshop: Diversity 101: Thur, February 3, 1–2:30 p.m.
This foundational workshop organized by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion will provide participants with a clearer understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Those who attend will have the opportunity to explore how personal and cultural identities relate to their lived experiences and will leave the workshop having discussed tangible approaches to effectively work across difference.
