Faculty Development Workshops for Fall 2021

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics has returned to offering monthly Faculty Development Workshops.

October 15: Research & Education Use of Electronic Lab Notebooks

LabArchives will present two sessions on the use of Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN). Presenters are Richard Romero and Debbie Cole of LabArchives. Each session will provide an overview of the platform and an opportunity for hands-on use of the ELN system.

Session 1: How Can Moving to a Digital Lab Notebook Support My Research?

Time: 12–1:15 pm
This session is designed for PIs, postdocs, lab managers, and graduate students in any discipline looking for a better way to document their research. Session 2: Are eLab Notebooks Right for My Teaching Lab or Design Course?

Time: 1:30–2:30 pm
Directed at lab course instructors, lab coordinators, and teaching assistants, this session will cover lab manual integration, collaboration between group members, grading, and feedback.
