NSM Faculty Emeritus Appointments Approved
Congratulations to the following faculty whose emeritus appointments received final approval from the UH System Board of Regents.
The Emeritus title is bestowed upon retired faculty “who have made significant contribution to the University through a long and distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and/or service” (UH Faculty Handbook).
Emeritus nominations originate from the departments and receive support from the Dean, Provost, and ultimately the Board of Regents. The appointments are effective September 1.
